misunderstandings

up out of the deep, dark depths
of all sorts of jumbled up feelings
loss, anger, love, frustration
regret, sadness, hope...

what will never be -
could never have been -
never was - but wished for,
wanted all the same

and to fix what remains
is that possible?
or even desirable?
or a regret some future day...
