i saw a picture on a web page of an overflow
hole in a dam and to me that was a picture
of what a figurative "vortex of madness" must look like
such a smooth edged drop off into total darkness
my new hero shall be phoebe nutcase from friends
a person who obviously didn't care if people thought
she had a screw loose. that would be their problem
and not even hers to consider
i think its the key to most madness...
feeling that whatever we are is not good enough
to be put under the microscope of life
and giving a damn about whether it is or not.
