These boys will drive me crazy
Hairy, smelly four-legged beasts
Barking at the mailman
and UPS and neighborhood dogs.
They eat and they sleep
and they run and they play
and they leave messes wherever they go -
for me to clean up.
They've grown to twice the size
The agency told us they would
But by then, we were in love
And couldn't bear losing them.
They drive me totally nuts
These insane, lovable mutts
I'd give them up with all their quirks
But who would love them like me?
