Down in the dumps today:
So many people screaming
screaming to be heard
by someone somewhere.
Even when their screaming
hurts your ears and pierces
your heart someone has to
want to listen to their lives.
Fading into obscurity may be
Every person's ultimate fear.
I listen when you talk because
crazy or not someone needs to hear.
